Modes of Transport from THE PENNY FARTHING to SPACE TRAVEL

A Window to Your Past, Supporting:

Heritage open days, 9-10th Sept.

Yorkshire Air Ambulance - Tickhill, Nr Doncaster.

This years event was held at the Davie Fine Art Gallery in the historic and picturesque village of Tickhill the exhibitions theme was All Modes of Transport there tastefully mixing rare old images and original artwork, and a wide range of models and memorabilia, supporting the event was the www.a-window-to-your-past.com website.

A large amount of media interest attracted quite a number of very interesting feature articles both in the press and top magazines like Down Your Way.   Its fair to say visitors who came to the exhibition were both interested and very knowledgeable and appreciated the quality and unique setting that displaying in a reputable gallery can achieved.

I have to mention the tremendous support the event received from Museums like the world famous Brooklands museum, Hull Street life museum, Wakefield museum, the West Ridings Police achieves, plus many individuals who unselfishly allowed us to use lots of their amazing old and rare photographic images, and cherished models.   The event also was supporting Yorkshire Air Ambulance, l was absolutely delighted to receive a letter from the Duke of Cambridge sending his personal best wishes and support for the event, l can truly say this years event was global, with a total number of visitors to the event in Tickhill and the website well in excess of 4,000 over the two days.
